‚ÄčOn Saturday 6th July Yaffle will be launching two publications: Terry Simpson's wonderful pamphlet 'The Magpie's Box' and our second collection 'The Wilderness of Skin' from the brilliant Kathleen Strafford. Proceedings will be held at Hyde Park Book Club in Headingley from 2pm.

Penny Sharman's pamphlet 'Fair Ground' will be launched in Manchester on  Wednesday July 24th at The Central Library from 5-30 - 7-30pm. She will be supported by Gill Lambert, Marie Naughton, Pat Edwards and Rebecca Jane Bilkau.

Paul Waring's fantastic pamphlet 'Quotidian' will be launched on Sunday July 28th at West Kirby Arts Centre, The Old Unitarian Church, 29 Brookfield Gardens, CH48 4EL from 1-30pm. Paul will be supported by Gill Lambert, Pat Edwards and Edwin Stockdale. The event will be compered by Mark Connors.

On Friday 16th of August, the Yaffle editorial team are very proud to launch the Reel Bradford anthology which will include poems about Bradford's long relationship with cinema and film.The event will be at 18-30 at Bradford Library. 

Friday 5th July will see Yaffle's editorial team taking part in a poetry walk around Bradford's film locations. 

We will be meeting at 5.30 pm outside the National Science and Media Museum. The tour will last for 90 minutes. For info about tickets, please click on the link below.

On September 22nd YAFFLE are proud to launch our 10th publication 'Optics', the fabulous second collection from our very own managing editor, Mark Connors. The event will be at the Flying Duck, Ilkley and proceedings will start at 2pm. Mark will be supported by a Whiralgust of Yaffles and will be a real celebration of Yaffle's achievements so far. 

On 20th October, YAFFLE will launch Pat Edwards' first pamphlet, 'Only Blood' at The Poetry Pharmacy in Bishop's Castle, Shropshire. THis will be the first event at the Pharmacy and is bound to be a brilliant afternoon. Pat will be supported by Paul Waring, Gill Lambert and Jen Hawkins and compered by Yaffle's Mark Connors and The Poetry Pharmacy's Deborah Alma.The event is free but places are limited.
