REEL BRADFORD

The YAFFLE management team were delighted to perform at this year's Bradford Literature Festival. We read 4 original poems on a walking tour with David Wilson (Bradford UNESCO City of Film Director) who conducted a guided tour around some of Bradford's numerous iconic film and TV production locations, encompassing 100 years of Bradford Film and TV History. The tour was interspersed with readings of commissioned poems by Michael Farren, Lorna Faye Dunsire, Joanna Sedgewick, Gill Lambert and Mark Connors.

Those four commissioned poemswill now form part of an anthology, 'Reel Bradford', and will be published and launched on August 16th  2019 at Bradford Library, Centenary Square, Bradford at 18-30.

 

YAFFLE are proud to be creative partners with Bradford UNESCO City of Film and Bradford Libraries for this exciting project and will be involved in future events with Bradford UNESCO City of Film throughout 2019, their 10th Anniversary year. None of this would have been possible without Dionne V Hood from Bradford Libraries and we thank her from the bottom of our hearts for this great opportunity.
